Length of Training

I am confused by the varying lengths of Polarity training. How long does it take to become a Polarity Therapist?

That is almost like asking how long is a piece of string! Most full professional trainings that cover all aspects of Polarity Therapy are about 500 hours. However, it is quite possible to learn the Polarity principles and apply them with much less training. Typically in the region of 120 hours.

I think it's important to look at what we mean by training. We may be able to learn manipulations and understand Polarity with our minds, and is that all that the training really is? Polarity is like a lived entity. Until our whole being understands, it's just a model of training. In my years of learning and growing Polarity, I have found that the manipulations are the last thing I need to remember. I must have a learnt sense of movement and growth and energy exchange. I need to understand illness and dis-ease at the energy level before my manipulations can do all they are meant to. When I find people who think they 'have it all' after a weekend traing, I cringe. We need to take the training to a level of understanding, from knowledge to wisdom. How long does that take?? A lifetime smiling
